June 4, 2020 Update from Newmarket Baseball
Good morning baseball families!
Although the Town of Newmarket has announced that baseball diamonds will be opening on June 5th, please remember that this is for individual and family use only. Newmarket Baseball games/practices and all in person baseball acitivity are still under suspension until at least June 15th as governed by Baseball Ontario. The Batting Cages at Fairgrounds and George Richardson also remain closed. Public batting cages are open for individual use.
The closest batting cages to Newmarket are at Timbercreek Golf Centre in Stouffville.
Batting Cages are OPEN with temporary hours:
Thurs June 4th & Fri June 5th: 1 pm - 9 pm
Sat Jun 6th & Sun June 7th: 10 am - 9 pm

Newmarket Baseball Association continues to monitor the situation and will continue to provide updates in the upcoming months. At this time, a decision regarding the 2020 season opening has not been made. We await further direction from Baseball Ontario and government officials.
