2022 Newmarket Hawks Junior (22U) Baseball Club
Welcome to the home of your 2022 Newmarket Hawks Junior (22U) Baseball Club!
We're looking forward to a return to competitive baseball this summer, with our 22U team expected to be a top team in the province with our goal of qualifying for the U22 National Championship, to be held in Halifax, NS in August 2022.
Our roster will consist of a number of locally developed players (from the NBA Elite Program) combined with strong talents who are joining the Hawks from other organizations from across Ontario. Many of our players are already attending post-secondary schools across Canada and USA or will be starting their college/university careers over the next few years.
We will play our 2022 regular season in the Leaside Junior League (West) Division conisting of the following teams: East York, Etobicoke, High Park, Leaside, Newmarket, North York, Oshawa, Scarborough and Vaughan.
Our home games will be Wednesday evenings with first-pitch @ 7:30PM at beautiful Don McKnight Field at the Newmarket Fairgrounds (233 Pine Street, Newmarket ON).
