Indoor Training is Back!
Winter and Spring Indoor Training Sessions are now available to all House League Players
There are a number of different options for players to sign up for indoor spring training. You will be able to add these programs to your house league registration. Registration will open the first week of January!
Program 1
7U and 9U Baseball Skills Clinic + Fun Whiffle Ball Game
For kids born between 2016 and 2019
Description:
This clinic focuses on developing key baseball skills and nurturing your child's love for the game. It’s perfect for kids who are either new to baseball or looking to refine their abilities. Participants will practice hitting, fielding, throwing, and base running. Each session wraps up with a fun whiffle ball game—always a favorite!
- Cost: $105 for 7 classes (90 minutes each)
- Dates: Tuesdays, February 4, 2025 – March 25, 2025
- Time: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

11U Introduction to Pitching Clinic
For kids born in 2014-2015 entering 11U in 2025
Description:
Designed for aspiring pitchers, this clinic introduces participants to the fundamentals of pitching. Whether your child is refining their pitching technique or learning the ropes for the first time, this program covers everything from pitching mechanics to game strategy, led by experienced coaches.
Cost: $75 for 5 classes (90 minutes each)
Dates: Tuesdays, April 1, 2025 – April 29, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Location: Glen Cedar Public School, 915 Wayne Dr, Newmarket, ON L3Y 5W1
Class Size: Limited to 20 spots for 11U
Tuesdays at 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Program 3
This is a 4 week intensive training program led by Chris Howie, President of GTA North Baseball Academy, and Daniel Telford, Senior Hawks player and Head Instructor, along with other skilled Newmarket Hawks players and coaches.
Program Highlights
- Infield Drills: Master fielding mechanics and positional play.
- Outfield Training: Learn tracking, cut-off plays, and catching techniques.
- Throwing & Pitching: Focus on mechanics, accuracy, and mental strategies.
- Hitting Skills: Practice with tee work and pitching machines.
- Whiffle Ball Games: Fun, competitive games to end each session.
Dates: Starts: Saturday, April 12, 2025
Ends: Saturday, May 3, 2025
Times:8:00 AM – 9:30 AM: 9U and younger
9:30 AM – 11:00 AM: 10U and older
Cost: $225 per player for 4 weeks of intensive training.
Location: Newmarket Soccer Club – Exclusive use of all fields
Class Size: 60 participants per session
Eligibility: Open exclusively to NBA players (no external organizations)
Note: Parent participation is encouraged, especially for those interested in coaching!
