Mosquito Hawks Select Finalists in Brampton Tournament – June 13-15

It was cold Friday night 8:30 under lights, but the heat from the pitching and the hot bats kept the crowd warm. Our starter rocked the mound with a complete game coupled with excellent defense. Saturday’s cool morning didn’t stop our team from once again making spectacular plays and supporting the excellent pitching. All fueled up after a tremendous team BBQ and great time together, Hawks hit the field energized and take their 3rd win.
Early Sunday morning, with Timmies in hand, the crowd watched a tight game evenly matched against Innisfil which certainly made for an awesome game to watch. Sunday Noon our Hawks went back and forth with Thornhill. Both teams giving it their all with great bats and stellar plays. Hawks finished as finalists
A pretty incredible outcome in their first tournament, with most of the team never having played together before this season. A true testament to hard practice all winter and a bunch of kids gelling as a team!
