The 15U Elite Hawks came out as champions in the Vaughan 15U Elite tournament on the weekend.
The 15U Elite Hawks came out as champions in the Vaughan 15U Elite tournament on the weekend. Going 1-1-1 in Round Robin play, the Hawks woke up early and came out swinging, walking off Ajax in a 10-9 victory, then dominating Whitby 12-1 and North York 11-4 in the Semi's and Finals. Phenomenal starting pitching on Sunday from Nick D, Josh H and Jack B sealed the victory for the Hawks, with Paul V and Andy K closing it out. Also having a great weekend at the plate was Dayne C, Damon C, Aryan S, Ethan K and Evan S with Austin H and Ben M vacuuming up balls at first base.
The Hawks are looking forward to their next 2 tournaments, a CPBL tournament at the Canadian Baseball HOF and the Elimination tournament for Nationals in Mississauga.
