Rep teams represent the NBA in competitive games with teams from surrounding communities within the York Simcoe loop, with most games played throughout the week. Travel to and from other towns/cities is a requirement, as is participation in weekend tournaments. For 2010, the NBA will offer Representative teams in the following categories: Rookie #1, Rookie #2, Minor Mosquito, Mosquito, Minor Peewee, Minor Peewee #1, Minor Peewee #2, Minor Bantam, Bantam, Minor Midget, Midget #1, Midget #2, Junior and Senior.
The NBA is looking at all alternatives for teams for the 2010 playing season which may include Tier 1 & Tier 2 entries at certain divisions. We encourage all coaches interested in Coaching at higher levels to apply. There will be no separate Select Manager application process. If you are interested in coaching a Tier 2 Rep team, please apply.
The NBA has one of the best coaching staffs in York Simcoe. All of our Managers are required to be Level Two certified or working towards Level Two certification and our Assistant Coaches are Level One. Both Managers and Coaches are screened through York Regional Police.
Rep Team Schedules are available on the York-Simcoe Baseball Association website:
