Newmarket Baseball Association is sharing the following with sincere condolences to the family and friends of Daniel Lehmkuhl. We share the following from the Newmarket Senior Hawks team by Coach Matthew Richard.
"It’s with incredible sadness that we acknowledge and share the passing of one of our own, Dan Lehmkuhl. Dan was taken tragically on December 13th, 2023. Widely known as one of the most talented and respected guys to play the game with us, our hearts break mostly because of who he was off the field. Dan was admired by all of his teammates, young and old. It didn’t matter whether you shared the clubhouse with him or sat across the field from him, you appreciated his immeasurable class and character. Of much greater importance, Dan was a loving husband, a wonderful father and a tremendous friend to all. Sadly, Dan leaves behind his wife, Laura and their two children, Jack and Maddie. Please keep his family and his friends in your thoughts. By us, he’ll be remembered for the joy he had playing the game, the stories about family canoe trips, road trips and winter hikes and the impact he had on every one of us and by the gigantic hole left in the our hearts by his passing. We’ll miss you #12."
