Future Stars Participate in All Star Rookie House League Tournament
2016-08-13
The Rookie house league team Future Stars participated in the Rookie All Star Tournament on Aug 13th.
The team is coached by Coach Chris Ingram who writes:
"We played in the house league tournament this weekend and I couldn’t have been more proud of the boys. We were the only team that brought their regular house league team and we faired just fine.
We finished 1-2 but both games we lost were only by 2 runs. All other teams put together an all star team and didn’t rotate positions. We played exactly how we would in our league which makes it even more impressive."
On behalf of Newmarket Baseball Association, Congratulations to the players who played over the weekend and a big thank you to Coach Chris for giving this team this opportunity!
The Future Stars team continues onto the Semi Finals this weekend at Bayview Diamonds.
