Newmarket JKR Computers Major Mosquito AA Rep Hawks win Niagara Falls tournament
 
Great pitching, stellar D, and hot bats at the same time are always a recipe for success on the diamond, and the 2015 Major Mosquito AA Rep Hawks had all of these cylinders firing to earn a 5-0 record and the championship trophy at the Niagara Falls AA tournament on the weekend of June 5-7.
 
Preliminary round wins against St. Catharines, Brampton, and Toronto Playgrounds followed by a semi-final win vs. Bloordale in set-up a rematch against Toronto Playgrounds in the final.  Toronto got off to a quick 3-0 lead after the first inning and held their lead at 5-2 after three innings, but the Hawks bats then exploded while their pitching and D slammed the door shut en route to a 15-5 victory.
 
Congratulations to Keegan, Graham, Jensen, Michael, Kade, Ben, Matthew, Noah, Carter, Tyler, Scotty, and Adam and to Coaches Gerard, Rob, Dave, Kevin, and Jamie for a great tournament.
