Bluebombers win 24-7, set to face Quaker Hill Wednesday

The TRG Bluebombers scored 24 of a possible 25 runs winning their 1st Round Robin Playoff game...
NEWMARKET - The TRG Bluebombers put on an impressive display of offense and defense, beating Snap'd 24-7 in the 1st game of their 4 round-robin playoff games. Coach Tim had a theory for the incredible performance.
"Yeah, really, it was just good that Coach Andy wasn't around. I mean, seriously, that guy is a pain in the butt. I like Dalton and all, but they're sorta a package deal. It will be nice to have Dalton back in the lineup, but I suppose that comes with Andy as well...them's the breaks..."
TRG was down to 7 regulars and called up Josh and Ben from Junior Rookie. Both '07s played extremely well, as did '08 Noah.
"We missed Tony, Brianna, Paige, Dalton and Luigi. It will be nice to see them on Wednesday. The other kids really stepped up while they were gone, and the call-ups played great. It's good to have that kind of depth in the farm system. We'll be leaning on them during the playoff drive."
TRG plays Quaker Hill on Wednesday. Good seats are still available.
