TRG Bluebombers win 12-10 and the twins step up their game
NEWMARKET - In what can only be called a "classic for the ages", the TRG Bluebombers scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 4th and shutout ServiceMaster in the top of the 5th to preserve a 12-10 victory. The real stars of the game were the twins, Brianna and Tony.
"Yup, that was a heck of a game," said Coach Tim afterwards. "I think the key moment was when Brianna presented me with a Green and Yellow Rainbow Loom bracelet. That's when I knew we had to win this one."
The post-game speech was delivered by Brianna's twin brother Tony.
"Tony hit on all the key talking points. Try your best, be a good sport, have fun. He said it's okay if we make mistakes because even professional ballplayers make mistakes. I think I've lost my role as motivational speaker."
TRG is off for a week until next Monday. Good seats are still available.
